Summer

Summer is the time to stay cool and hydrated.  Coconut water and milk are great ways to replenish your body.  It’s a great time to partake in fruits such as watermelon, peaches, plums, grapes, and apricots.  Adding cucumber slices or cilantro to your water can give it that extra boost of refreshment during these warm months.

Since it’s light much later, take the time to enjoy outdoor activities.  Go hiking, walking, biking, swimming, water skiing or try any new outdoor adventure.  Check your local listings for exciting summer activities in your area.

Nature

Getting out in nature can refresh the mind and re-energize the body.  You can enjoy the outdoors at any time of the year, as long as you dress appropriately.  In fact, snow fall can be quieting, rain can be rejuvenating, the sun can be invigorating, and wind can be purifying.  If you’re short of time and can’t immerse yourself in nature, look around there are hints of nature everywhere.  If you find that your environment lacks natural elements, invest in a small plant or animal.  This will brighten your days and bring you closer to nature.
